Jim Bloomfield, Senior Consultant

Jim is an experienced consultant who specialises in the assessment of people for recruitment and professional development. His projects, a number of which have been international in scope, have included the design and delivery of objective selection processes, facilitation of assessment and development centres, and conducting of one-to-one feedback and coaching sessions. Clients he has worked with include HSBC, Lloyds TSB, KPMG, BT, EMI, E-ON, Home Office, FCA and Network Rail.
Jim’s interests are in selection and development from graduate to CEO level, particularly around sales performance and management development. His project work has been focused on the following areas: developing behavioural models, designing recruitment processes and delivering individual and group assessment techniques for selection, development and coaching.
He is an Associate Member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP) and is registered as a Test User: Occupational Ability & Personality with the British Psychological Society (BPS). He is trained to use a number of psychometrics including Unique Strengths, Values Fit & Decision Styles, OPQ32, Wave, NEO PI-R, Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Hogan Development Survey (HDS), Dimensions, Profile:Match and Strengthscope.
He has also undertaken SHL’s training in Job Analysis & Competency Design, Assessment and Development Centre Design and Delivery, Competency Based Interviewing, Motivation Questionnaire interpretation and feedback and 360 interpretation and feedback, Saville’s Wave 360, and Lominger’s Leadership Architect 101: Competency Modelling, Choices Architect: High Potential Identification and Voices 360: Feedback, Facilitation & Coaching.
